The death of a man found lying on a Dundee street is being treated as “unexplained” according to police.
Officers cordoned off road and paramedics were called to the scene of the sudden death at Brown Constable Street at around 9.30am yesterday.
Police are now treating the incident as “unexplained” and are continuing with enquiries.
Formal identification of the man is still to take place.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland attended at Brown Constable Street, Dundee at 9.35am this morning, following the sudden death of a man.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are continuing”.
A spokesman from the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call from Police Scotland to attend an incident in Brown Constable Street in Dundee at 9.44am on Friday May 25.
“We sent one ambulance and treated a male at the incident. We did not convey any patients to hospital.”
