Councillors are to be asked to approve plans for a further 11 flats at the controversial Site 6 development at Dundee’s Waterfront.
Applicant Ediston Real Estate from Edinburgh is seeking permission for the additional properties at the Riverside Esplanade.
In a report recommending approval to Dundee City Council’s planning committee, director of city development Mike Galloway said the proposals “would not have any significant adverse impact on the character, amenity or appearance of the approved Site 6 development or the surrounding area”.
Two letters of objection have been received, one from Dundee Civic Trust and one from City Centre and Harbour Community Council, arguing the application does not provide sufficient parking and would result in poor design.
Members of the committee will consider the application on Monday.
