Police want a woman who allegedly let a man into her car following an incident on the A90 between Dundee and Perth to come forward.
A man, 40, has been charged with various road traffic offences after a road traffic collision on A90 at Glendoick at 7.50pm yesterday evening.
He is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court today.
A police statement said: “It is understood the man got into a car belonging to a female motorist who had stopped to assist him.
“We are still appealing for that woman to come forward or if you were passing at the time of the incident, we ask that you contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting 3601 or 3641 of 3 December.”
