Police probe theft of cash from Dundee soft play centre

Police are continuing to hunt for the culprit following a theft at a children’s soft play centre.

An opportunist thief struck at the Fun Factory on Balunie Drive on Sunday August 26.

A man in a dark green jacket was caught on CCTV fleeing the scene following the incident.

A spokesman for the force said: “Police Scotland is investigating a theft which happened at 7pm on August 26 at the Fun Factory, Balunie Drive, Dundee.

“A man entered the premises as it was closing and stole a quantity of cash.

“Officers would like to trace a man described as about 5ft 5in and average build with dark brown hair, wearing a dark green jacket with a hood, dark trousers, and dark trainers which had white tongues, laces and heels. He left in a grey car.

“If you have any information which could assist our inquiries, please call 101 and quote reference CR20724/18.”
