An investigation is under way after a car was found ablaze in a Dundee street.
Police and fire crews were called to Peddie Street in the early hours of Saturday with huge flames coming from the vehicle.
Firefighters battled to put the flames out but the convertible Vauxhall Astra was left in ruin.
Police are urging anyone who may have seen the incident to come forward, with the fire believed to have been started between midnight and 1.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Although in the very early hours, there are usually a lot of people making their way home from Friday night outs in this area at that time, and it is hoped that someone may have seen something which could assist the inquiry.
“Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Tayside Division on 101 quoting CR/16304/17 or speak to any police officer. Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
