Police hunt ‘Superman’ T-shirt man after local club goer knocked out in attack

A nightclub goer was left unconscious after a serious assault in a local club.

The 52-year-old victim also suffered “a number of facial fractures” as a result of the attack.

The incident happened just after 2am on Sunday at DeVitos in Millgate, Arbroath.

Police now want to trace a man, who was wearing a Superman T-shirt, in connection with the assault.

A spokesman said: “A 52-year-old man was assaulted and knocked unconscious by another man. He also suffered a number of facial fractures and loss of vision as a result.

“Officers would like to trace a man described as white, in his 20s, about 6ft in height who was wearing a Superman t-shirt, and has tattoos on both biceps along with a Chinese symbol on his left arm.

“We would like to hear from anyone who was within the club and saw this incident take place.

“If you have any information which could assist our enquiries, please call 101 or speak to any police officer. Also, information can be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. Our reference is CR/2811/18.”
