Police were called to a block of flats after reports of people trying to force entry to a property.
A resident contacted 999 during the incident at a neighbour’s door on Leith Walk.
She said two different sets of people had been “kicking” the door in.
Police Scotland confirmed they attended an address in Menzieshill. A spokeswoman said no arrests were made during the incident last Wednesday.
One resident said a member of staff from Dundee City Council had to come and repair the locks following the disturbance.
The police spokeswoman added: “We received a report of people kicking a door at Leith Walk. There was no trace of persons on police arrival.”
