A former car garage in Dundee’s West End could be reborn as a nursery and beauty training academy.
Plans have been submitted to the city council’s planning department to bring the Arnold Clark service garage in Annfield Road back into use.
The Elegance Beauty Group, which already has a salon in the Overgate centre, wants to transform the unused building into a beauty facility with training rooms and stations for both hairdressing and nail painting.
However, the majority of the facility will be given over to a nursery with an expansive play area.
In addition, part of the car park at the former garage will be converted into a play area, and the building’s exterior garnished with a decoration of clouds in the sky.
The plans, which will be considered by council planning chiefs, were submitted by Peter Inglis Architects on behalf of the beauty salon group, which has seven branches across Scotland.
