Plans to revolutionise part of the Marketgait have been submitted to the city council after two years of consultation.
Brunton Design’s plans for a £6 million block containing 43 flats, retail units and a restaurant were unveiled in July.
If approved, the site will replace the Shell petrol station on the Marketgait.
Allan Mudie, senior partner at Brunton Design, said: “These are very exciting times for Dundee and we are delighted to be given the opportunity to contribute to the improvements in the city’s built environment.
“Our proposals, which follow more than two years of discussions with planning officials, will put a flagship development outside the Waterfront area.”
A decision is likely to be made on the proposal before the end of the year.
