Plans have been lodged for the final phase of a major housing development in the Cherrybank area of Perth.
Bellway Homes is seeking permission to build 70 new properties on land to the west of the former Cherrybank Gardens.
If passed, it will mark the third phase of the overall scheme for the area.
Planning approval was initially given in December 2015 and construction is under way.
So far, 29 properties have been completed and 17 are occupied.
Anne Condliffe, Perth and Kinross Council’s interim development quality manager, has ruled the latest stage complies with the adopted local development plan and Tayplan.
She will advise councillors to approve it when they meet next week.
“As this is the final phase of the residential element, much of the open space, planting and the play area are being provided by previous consent,” she said.
“This is designed to a high standard to meet the requirements for the site.”
