A plane was forced to land in a field after getting into difficulties.
The light aircraft had just taken off from Fife Airport on the edge of Glenrothes when the pilot had to take evasive action.
It’s believed the small Cessna plane suffered some sort of technical failure, with reports suggesting it ‘stalled’.
Everyone on the aircraft escaped from the bumpy landing unharmed.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We were notified at 8.55am. A light aircraft had to perform an emergency landing in a field shortly after taking off.
“The aircraft suffered a technical failure.
“Police Scotland attended alongside firefighters. There were no injuries.”
