Animals at Dundee’s Camperdown Wildlife Centre have been given frozen treats to help them cool down during this heatwave.

The zoo’s resident brown bears, Brum, Brumma and Maja, have been snapped making the most of the unusual reward – an 80kg ice lolly.

The giant frozen delicacy took several days to create using sugar-free fruit juice layered with some of their favourites including watermelon, carrots, apples, grapes, plums and nuts.

It was then hung from one of the climbing poles in their area to make them work for it.

We’re not sure how you feel on this, but while we’d love an ice cream right now, that flavour combination really isn’t for us!
