A petition has been launched to bring back an iconic city monument.
Culture Dundee plans to appeal to the city council for the return of the Royal Arch, which sat at the waterfront for more than 100 years, and is running the petition in a bid to bring the structure back to the City of Discovery.
A previous campaign by Lost Dundee to have the Royal Arch rebuilt in 2015 amassed more than 2,000 signatures.
Andrew Batchelor, founder and director of Dundee Culture, said: “Things have changed since 2015 when we last campaigned for the arch to return.
“The People’s Tower event last year at Slessor Gardens proved the arch is popular to this day.
“Now we have also got the NEoN Digital Arts Festival creating a new digital version of the Royal Arch, which I got to have a sneak peek at and I’m hoping will be popular as well.”
