The Scottish SPCA is appealing for a rabbit lover to come forward to take on wee Peter.

A statement from the charity said: “Peter is a lovely big lad who arrived in our care after being found as a stray and is now looking for a forever home to call his own.

“He is a docile boy who is quite happy to spend most of the day lazing away.

“He is ok being handled but would definitely benefit from an owner who is willing to spend time getting him more comfortable and confident with it.

“He could potentially go to a new home with a neutered female rabbit companion pending a successful introduction.

“Peter will require an indoor home as it is currently too cold for him to be housed outside when he’s been used to being cosy indoors.

“He could be introduced to an outdoor hutch when the weather gets warmer.”

If you think you can offer Peter his forever home please contact the SSPCA’s Angus, Fife and Tayside centre on 03000 999 999 for more information.
