Continental cake shop chain Patisserie Valerie is set to open its first Dundee cafe.
The new store will open its doors to customers tomorrow.
As the Tele previously revealed, the renowned chain will move into the unit formerly occupied by Schuh on High Street and has created about 20 jobs.
Indulgent cakes and pastries will be on offer, which are handmade by the store’s bakers.
Afternoon tea will also be on offer for customers looking for a luxury bite to eat.
Paul May, CEO of Patisserie Holdings PLC, the group that owns Patisserie Valerie, said: “Our new cafe in Dundee is very exciting.
“We’ve had requests from customers to come to the city for a while, and we’re happy to finally be opening here. We hope the people of Dundee enjoy their new store.”
Patisserie Valerie operates more than 115 cafes across the UK, 10 of which are in Scotland, including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
