A flight from Paris en route to Aberdeen suffered a “technical problem” over Dundee and was forced into an emergency landing.
The Granite City-bound aircraft had to divert to Edinburgh after declaring an emergency.
The 9.40am Hop! flight, AF1272, from Charles de Gaulle Airport which was due to land in Aberdeen at around 10.30am, was over Dundee when it turned back and landed at the Capital’s airport.

The aircraft, an Embraer E170 with 66 passengers on-board, landed safely in Edinburgh at 10.47am.
A spokesman for Aberdeen International Airport said: “The flight was diverted over Edinburgh due to a technical problem.”
