Dundonians can now take a moment to remember the lives lost in last week’s Manchester terror attack after an Angus woman created a city centre tribute.
People walking through the city will now see the penguins which stand on the wall of the Steeple Church outside the Overgate Centre bearing a Manchester heart symbol.
The woman behind the tribute is Christine Horton from Forfar.
The 60-year-old has a close connection to Manchester.
She has just moved back up north after spending five years in the city and has family members still living there.
Christine said: “It’s just nice to show that people in Dundee are thinking of Manchester.
“I hope people take a moment to stop and remember all those who sadly died, everyone still in the hospital, all the families affected and those who went out of their way to help.
“It’s important to remember that there is still lots of good in the world, not just bad.”
