A big police presence has been reported in an immigration raid on a Tayside shop.
The Home Office is working with Police Scotland and members of the local authority for a joint raid on Perth’s Nail Icon in South Street.
Three vans and an unmarked car arrived at 11am.
A witness said: “The nail bar is pretty busy generally and a number of customers have been turned away.
“There have also been a lot of people walking past looking in to see whats happening.”
A police spokesman said: “The Home Office is carrying out an enforcement operation.”
It is the third time in two years the shop has been the victim of raids.
In September and November 2016, three people were arrested and two detained as part of a crackdown on suspected human trafficking.
