Dundee musicians will be singing about unemployed life as part of a special evening of music.
The Scottish Unemployed Workers’ Network (SUWN) will host the Ballads of Dundee Buroo at Church, Ward Road on Friday November 24.
The event aims to demonstrate that being unemployed can’t crush creative skills or the ability to enjoy life.
Performing at the free event will be Nick Shane, Little Anchors, Alan McWilliam, Trip, Avril Smart, Brian Doc Wound, The T-Bone Collective, The Kettle Bilers.
Compering the event will be Wayne O’Hare.
All of the songs performed on the night are inspired by experiences of unemployed life.
The SUWN is an independent organisation which aims to combine campaigning for the unemployed along with practical welfare work.
Although the event is free, donations are welcomed.
Music gets under way at 8pm.
