A Dundee pensioner is appealing for witnesses after his car was keyed while he and his disabled wife were getting their flu jabs.
James Bowman, 77, was driving his wife Isabella, 74, to Mill Practice, Arthurstone Terrace, for their seasonal injections. The couple were out yesterday from around 9.30am to around 10.15am.
Mr Bowman, of Pitkerro Road, said that, after leaving the medical practice, he and his wife went to Aldi and a newsagent on Arbroath Road, near the Scott Fyffe roundabout.
It was then that they noticed the scratches.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We are investigating vandalism which happened in Arbroath Road, outside Grosset’s Butchers, about 10am on Thursday when an orange Renault Captur was vandalised by having the front wings deliberately scratched with a sharp implement.
“Call 101, our reference is CR/25365/18.”
