No charges have been brought against a driver after a car came to rest on a Dundee roundabout.
The silver Vauxhall Corsa ended up on the island at the Five Ways Roundabout, on Strathmartine Road, in the early hours of Monday December 18.
It’s understood the motorist lost control of his vehicle due to the icy conditions at the time and ploughed through a sign post stopping on the circle.
A spokesman for Police Scotland confirmed that the driver contacted them soon after the incident to notify them.
The car remained on the roundabout for more than a week with the motorist arranging for the vehicle to be recovered himself.
A spokesman for Police Scotland added: “There are no charges as there was no evidence of a crime.”
