Dundee United bosses have hauled a first team player in for talks after footage surfaced of him dancing and drinking a green liquid from a pint glass while driving.
The 45-second clip — which was recorded from a Snapchat story — shows left back Jamie Robson sipping on an unknown green drink while taking his hands off the wheel and singing into the camera.
It is understood that the 20-year-old was called in for meetings with manager Csaba Lazlo and the club’s general manager David Southern, but that no further action is set to be taken.
The footage was viewed more than 210,000 times since it was posted on Christmas Eve.
A Dundee United spokesman confirmed the club had spoken to the player.
He added that the club were satisfied the drink shown in the video was not alcoholic.
Robson, who attended Blairgowrie High School and grew up in Perth, came through the youth ranks at Dundee FC and Rangers before making his United debut in September 2015.
He made 21 appearances for United last season as they narrowly missed out on promotion to the Scottish Premiership.
It is understood that there is no police investigation in relation to the footage.
