NHS Tayside is conducting a survey into sexting.

The anonymous survey will aim to find out more answers to the issue which continues to play an increasingly bigger part in youngsters’ digital lives.

The results will be fed back to staff and used to inform health promotion programmes and services for young people.

A spokesperson for NHS Tayside said: “A growing number of young people use digital media in one form or another on a daily basis.

“Sexting, porn and technology continues to be a part of this and that is why NHS Tayside is committed to ensuring young people are educated and supported in all aspects of sexual and reproductive healths.

“The aim is to gather insight from young people about the extent to which they are aware of sexting, their thoughts on what education and support they would like and how they want to access support.”
