The new-look Premier Inn, which is based on Dundee Waterfront, opened on Thursday.
The hotel chain has completed work, which began in December last year, to add 109 bedrooms to the existing 40 rooms at the Riverside Drive venue.
It is expected to be popular for accommodating tourists once the V&A opens in the second half of next year. The car park has been reduced by 15 spaces, going from 113 to 98.
Premier Inn’s adjacent Beefeater restaurant is also open, which includes a full glass facade facing across the River Tay.
The Waterfront development is part of Premier Inn’s expansion drive, which is aiming to create at least 1,000 new bedrooms per annum across the UK.
