Dundee Ceramics Workshop is launching new classes in January to help beat the winter blues.
Budding potters and ceramic artists can get their hands dirty with three classes suitable for different experience levels.
The classes will begin on January 8.
Speaking about the launch of the classes, committee member Joanna Helfer said: “We recently read some research that shows that doing ceramics can help beat depression, and so we thought it was really important to offer more opportunities in the new year, when some people can really feel the winter blues.”
One previous participant said: “Developing ceramics within my artistic practice has given me a new way to express myself and keep myself sane. It is a very important part of my life and wellbeing.”
As well as the classes, the group is also looking for people with an interest in the arts to join its voluntary committee.
