The official charity of Tayside Children’s Hospital has a new boss.
The Archie Foundation has appointed David Wood (pictured) as chief executive following the departure of David Cunningham last year.
Mr Wood, 56, has worked in the charity sector since 2009, most recently as chief executive of Community Resources Network Scotland. The Archie Foundation aims to help local children when they are sick, in hospital or in need of long-term healthcare.
They do this by buying and providing specialist equipment to hospitals, supporting the families, creating exciting hospital environments and buying toys.
The charity also funds research, provides specialist staff and responds to emergencies.
