Police have named the man who died in a crash on an Angus road.
Police and ambulance crews were called to an accident on the the A94 near Eassie Muir in the Forfar area at around 1.20pm on Friday.
The collision involved three vehicles including a red Ford Transit, a black Renault Kangoo and a black VW Polo.
The man who died, the driver of the Renault Kangoo, has been confirmed as William Barclay (68) from Brechin.
A police statement said: “Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.
“Enquiries into the incident are continuing, and we would like to thank the members of the public who have come forward with information to assist our investigation.”
The other two drivers received minor injuries.
The road was closed for many hours as emergency services investigated the incident.
