A new suicide charity set up only three weeks ago in Dundee has already gained more than 1,100 members.
Now the Blue Wings suicide prevention charity is looking for people to be prepared to join its committee.
Robbie Russell, from Douglas, who formed the charity after contemplating suicide himself several times, said he was amazed at how many people had already embraced the new charity.
He said: “We’ve had a fantastic response and now we want to really develop a full working committee.
“We already have 12 people on it, but we are looking for a few more, in particular an accountant.
“Anyone who thinks they can help us would be more than welcome to get in touch.”
Robbie, originally from Arbroath is also looking to carry out daily patrols with a team of two people on the bridge to watch out for anyone in difficulty.
