Eleven members of EQ Chartered Accountants’ Dundee, Forfar and Cupar offices collectively covered more than 43 miles on the “Maggie’s to Maggie’s walk” from Maggie’s Fife in Kirkcaldy to Maggie’s Dundee, raising £750.
They have now raised more than £13,000 this year for the charity, with staff hosting bake sales, race nights and pub quizzes as well as taking part in a skydive.
The walk was led by Scott Kenedy, manager of EQ’s Amber Accounting department in Forfar.
He said: “I am absolutely delighted we managed to raise more than £750 by taking part in the walk and would like to thank each and every one of my colleagues who pounded the pavements, paths and tracks for such a deserving cause.
“Personally, the toughest part for me was getting up on the Sunday morning to walk the next part of the route and completing the final leg across the Tay Road Bridge.
“However, it was more than worth it and we thank everyone who took the time to donate.”
Taking part in the walk were Scott Kennedy, Ruth Phillips, Chelsea Anton, Josh Lumgair, Denisa Pirvulescu, Debbie Millar, Kelly McHardy, Callum Edwards, Liz Goldie, Pam Winton and Mark Gallacher.
