Mark Durnan has warned Dundee United new boy Nicky Clark still to expect a goal drought next season.
Durnan is a big fan of 27-year-old Clark who joined Csaba Laszlo’s Tangerines as they bid to make it back to the Premiership at the third attempt.
The East End Park new boy, who played alongside Clark at Queen of the South, is keen to keep a tight grip on Clark who’s being tipped to get among the goals for Laszlo’s side.
Durnan said: “Nicky will be a really good signing for Dundee United.
“I know him well and the problems he poses for defenders.
“Hopefully, though, he doesn’t get any joy against us!
“I’ve played against him a few times and he’s never scored against me, so naturally you want to try and keep that run going.”
