A man was taken to hospital after a river rescue in Dundee.
Coastguard officers helped pull a man to safety at Discovery Quay, just a short distance from the £80m V&A museum, due to open next week.
The 53-year-old was rescued just after 7.30pm yesterday following reports he had got into difficulty in the River Tay.
Police officers and a Scottish Ambulance Service crew also raced to the scene to provide assistance.
The man is said to have jumped into the water at low tide and become stuck in mud.
He was later taken to Ninewells Hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed that a man was helped out of the water after becoming stuck in the mud.
