A man has been jailed after stealing meat and toiletries from a shop.
John Hodge, 48, admitted stealing £25.52 of goods from the Spar store on Ballindean Road on July 30.
Fiscal depute Joanne Smith told the court that the goods had been partially recovered, to the value of £11.56.
Sheriff Tom Hughes sentenced Hodge to two months in prison, reduced from three.
Hodge had a not guilty plea on another charge accepted by the Crown.
