Man hurt in attack by two men in Dundee city centre

A man was left with a facial injury after being attacked by two men in Dundee.

Police are on the hunt for the thugs following the incident on Hawkhill in the early hours.

The 36-year-old victim was walking near to Tesco and Marco Polo when he was approached by the culprits and assaulted.

Police have now released descriptions of the suspects in a bid to trace them following the incident on Sunday at 3.20am.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We are keen to trace two men, one is described as being 6ft tall with a bald head and wearing a dark suit.

“The other is described as being 6ft 2in tall, with dark brown hair and wearing a white jumper.

“Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting CR/32217/17 or speak to any police officer.

“Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
