The body of a man has been found on the Dundee Law.
Police and ambulance crews were called out to the city monument at around 5.30pm after the male was discovered in a wooded area near the Law Crescent allotments .
An area has been cordoned off near to the public toilets on Law Road by officers to allow for investigations to be carried out.
Police officers were stationed at entrances to the beauty spot preveneting people from entering.
It’s believed the death is not suspicious.
No further details of the deceased were available from Police Scotland at this early stage.
A spokesman for the force said: “We were called out to a death in the open on the Law.
”The body of a man was found near the monument.
“Early indications show it does not appear to be suspicious.
“There are no further details at present until next of kin have been informed.”
