A man has died following a ‘serious incident’ in a Dundee street, police have confirmed.
Officers sealed off Lawton Road, between Byron Street and Law Crescent, following an incident at around 2.30am.
A blue tent was erected in the middle of the road beside it’s junction with Lawton Terrace.
The death has been described as “sudden” but no further details about the deceased have been released.
A large police presence remained on the scene this morning with a police incident support vehicle and a command unit set up next to Nicolls Rosebank Bakery.
A spokeswoman for the force gave a brief statement which read: “Police Scotland is carrying out inquiries into the sudden death of a man at Lawton Terrace, Dundee, in the early hours of today.”
