Man charged and three taken to hospital after Dundee road crash

A man has been charged and three people were taken to hospital following a road accident in Dundee on Tuesday.

The incident took place at around 7.45pm in the Sinderins area of Perth Road, close to the junction with Blackness Avenue and Hawkhill.

A call to emergency services was made from Peddie Street, where police first attended.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland attended at Peddie Street, following a road traffic collision involving one vehicle at 7.45pm on 16 March.

“Three persons were taken to hospital as a precaution. A man has been charged with road traffic offences.”

Scottish Ambulance Service said that one person was taken to Ninewells.

A spokesperson added: “We received a call at 7.52pm on Tuesday 16 March to attend a road traffic collision on Peddie Street, Dundee.

“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene.

“One patient was taken to Ninewells Hospital.”
