Police have confirmed that a man has been charged after an “incident” which saw a Dundee street sealed off for much of Sunday.
Emergency services were initially alerted to Ann Street in the Hilltown around 3am yesterday.
The incident saw armed police, firefighters and paramedics stationed on the street for much of the day with the incident coming to a conclusion on Sunday night.
A spokesman for Police Scotland thanked locals for their “patience” in a statement.
He said: “We can advise that a 27-year -ld male has been arrested and charged in connection with a disturbance at a property in Ann Street, Dundee on Sunday.
“A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
The spokesman added: “Police Scotland would like thank the public, in particular the local community and residents for their co-operation and patience whilst this incident was ongoing.”
