A man has been charged after a car crashed into a tree in Dundee.
The alleged incident happened at 3.20pm on Monday on the city’s King’s Cross Road.
Emergency services were alerted but it is understood that no one was injured in the accident.
An eyewitness said: “The car was crashed right into the tree.
“The car was pretty badly damaged but it didn’t look like anyone was hurt.
“The driver, who looked to be a young lad in his early 20s, was standing speaking to the police.
“It didn’t look like he was hurt at all.”
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A person has been charged with road traffic offences in connection with an accident involving a black Corsa that happened on King’s Cross Road at 3.20pm yesterday.
“The person charged is the driver of the car.
“He was the sole occupant and no other vehicles were involved.
“The driver was not hurt in the incident and did not require to go to hospital.”
