A man and woman have been charged after a number of elderly people were allegedly targeted by thieves.
A 34-year-old male and 32-year-old female are due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today.
It comes after incidents of distraction thefts are alleged to have happened in the Lawside area of the city.
Chief Inspector Nicky Russell, Local Area Commander of Dundee said: “The safety of residents in Dundee is our highest priority.
“I would like to take this opportunity to remind the public to be vigilant if anyone turns up at your door unannounced.
“If you are suspicious of anyone in your neighbourhood or have any concerns, please call Police Scotland 101 or in an emergency 999.”
