Man accused of raping young girls and male across Dundee and Tayside

One incident is alleged to have happened at the old Olympia Centre.

A man has appeared in court charged with a string of sex offences, including raping three young girls and one male, and having sex with children.

Kristoffer Stewart, 27, of Fort Street, Broughty Ferry, faces 10 charges in total, with allegations dating from 2002-2011.

It is alleged that between July 2002 and October 2004 he used lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards a child on numerous occasions.

He is further alleged to have sexually assaulted a girl aged under 16 between 2004 and 2008, at two houses in Dundee and at another location, and used lewd, indecent or libidinous practices and behaviour towards her.

He is also accused of raping the same girl between October 16 2007 and October 15 2008, at a house in the city.

He is accused of sexually assaulting another girl between 2002 and 2005 at Dundee’s old Olympia Leisure Centre in Earl Grey Place, at a house in the West End, in a car at an unknown location in Dundee, and at the Milton House Hotel in Monifieth, and used lewd, indecent and libidinous practices and behaviour towards the primary school aged girl.

He is also accused of raping the same girl between July 31 2004 and July 30 2005, at a house in Dundee.

He is further alleged to have, between January 28 2009 and January 27 2010, at a house in Dundee, had unlawful sexual intercourse with a young teenage girl.

Stewart is further alleged to have twice raped a woman between February 12 2010 and November 30 2010, and between December 1 2010 and February 11 2011, at another house in the city, both times while she was under the influence of alcohol and unable to consent.

It is also alleged that between September 1 2010 and October 31 2010, at a house in Carnoustie, he indecently assaulted a woman and, on November 21 2011, at a house in the city, raped a male.

Stewart made no plea before Sheriff Alastair Carmichael at Dundee Sheriff Court and the case was continued.

He was bailed on condition not to be in the company of anyone under 16 unless supervised by an adult over 21, to attend an identity parade within 48 hours notice, and not to contact any of the complainers.
