Man, 62, arrested after large police presence in quiet local street

A man has been arrested for alleged breach of the peace after concerns were raised about an individual in a quiet residential street.

Police were called to Edradour Terrace, Perth, at 10am on Friday.

One witness reported seeing a large police presence in the area, with marked cars parked in nearby Dalwhinnie Place throughout the incident.

A 62-year-old man was detained in connection with an alleged breach of the peace. A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland attended at Edradour Terrace, Perth, following reports of concern for a man.

“A 62-year-old man has been arrested for alleged breach of the peace.”
