
A vehicle containing fireworks in Tayside was “completely destroyed” after it went ablaze.
Firefighters were called to Grandtully following reports around 8pm yesterday.
Police closed off the road while the incident was being dealt with.
Firefighter spent more than an hour at the scene to extinguish the blaze.
No one is believed to have been injured.
A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “A 4×4 containing fireworks was completely destroyed following a fire in Grandtully. One appliance from Pitlochry attended shortly after 8pm yesterday.
“Crews used two hosereel jets and breathing apparatus and remained at the scene for over an hour to extinguish the blaze.”
