Youngsters from Grange and Seaview Primary schools spent some time at Monifieth Meadow planting flowers to help give the area a boost.
The meadow, in the West End Park, was first created five years ago.
The project was run in conjunction with the community council and Monifieth Eco Force.
There were 1,500 plants to be planted to help rejuvenate the meadow, ranging from knapweed to cowslip, red campion, white campion and viper bugloss.
Secretary of Monifieth Community Council John Thornton said: “It was a lot of fun. They were getting really involved.
“Everyone all had a very good time.
“The red campion should give the area quite a boost.”
