Police in Arbroath are looking into road safety issues in the town as part of their ongoing engagement with community concerns.
They have organised a road safety campaign which is planned to run over the coming weeks.
Constable Rees Dow, of Arbroath policing team, said: “Road safety is an ongoing concern and is dealt with diligently by officers on a daily basis.
“However, this campaign will specifically target identified issues within certain parts of the local area.
‘‘The main issues that have been highlighted are speeding, parking and other motoring offences.
“Myself, other officers and policing partners will carry out high profile action targeting these issues over the coming weeks.
“Community engagement is key to assisting us in doing our job and anyone wishing to discuss anything with us should feel free to chat to us when we are carrying these actions out, or stop by the police office at any time.”
