A charity appeal by Tayside Deaf Hub for help for Romanian dogs in need has been a big success.

The Cause for Paws appeal set up by Patricia Mill, who was helped by Doreen Campbell, has seen people donate blankets, food, toys and towels.

Patricia said: “I would just like to say a huge thank you to all. I am absolutely overwhelmed by the response. I am totally humbled by the compassion and generosity shown.

“I am hoping this donation will not only help to keep the animals warm and fed, but also highlight their plight.

“Doreen and I are delighted and hope this helps to remind people of the horrendous treatment that goes on.”
