A number of local brewers are gearing up for a craft beer festival which will return to the city later this year.
The Craft Beer Discovery event will take place at the Dundee University Bonar Hall on March 23.
Hundreds of people packed out last year’s event.
As well as a host of local beers – including 71 Brewing, Law Brew and Six Degrees North – a number of local musicians will also perform throughout the day.
Local produce and food will also be available.
For those who prefer something sweeter, the Perth based Cairn O’ Mohr winery will also be dishing out samples of its locally-produced products. Harbro Events director Andy Ure said he was looking forward to returning to Dundee following the success of last year’s event.
He said: “Last year was a phenomenal success and almost 900 beer enthusiasts visited to enjoy pints from brewers from across Scotland.
“There was a great atmosphere and the feedback from the local brewers was that Dundee had been crying out for a craft beer festival.”
Tickets for this year’s event have gone on sale and are available on the Harbro Facebook page.
Later in the year a whisky festival is set to take place in the Caird Hall.
