Dundee 2-1 Hearts: Double delight for Waddell

30/09/17 LADBROKES PREMIERSHIP DUNDEE v HEARTS DENS PARK - DUNDEE Dundee's Kerr Waddell heads the home side in front to make it 1-0.

Kerr Waddell’s double earns Dundee a valuable victory

FOR a moment it looked like Sofien Moussa’s lobbed back-pass which allowed Kyle Lafferty in to equalise and cancel out Kerr Waddell’s first-half opener was going to cost the Dark Blues.

But a last-minute header from the 19-year-old youth product secured all three points for the home side as they move up to eighth in the Premiership table.

Waddell was terrific throughout and towered above his markers to head home from two corners at the very end of each half.

Dundee will enjoy the international break before they travel to Parkhead to face champions Celtic in a fortnight.
