Dundee singer-songwriter Kyle Falconer will perform at the city’s first Sleep in the Park event on December 8.
The View frontman, who has just released his debut solo album No Thank You, will perform in Slessor Gardens alongside Edinburgh’s Withered Hand.
Amy Macdonald and KT Tunstall will also be visiting Dundee as part of their tour of all four Sleep in the Park events taking place in Scotland that night.
Organisers Social Bite and Unique Events hope to see 12,000 sleeping out. They hope to raise £6 million from which will be used to continue Social Bite’s fight to eradicate poverty.
The Dundee event will be hosted by comedian and broadcaster Ewen Cameron.
Lulu will headline the event in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens, while Frightened Rabbit will curate Glasgow’s Sleep in the Park at Kelvingrove Park. The band will be joined by a number of guest vocalists performing in tribute to founding member Scott Hutchinson, who died in May.
Eddi Reader will headline in Aberdeen.
Last year saw 8,000 people sleep in Edinburgh’s city centre on the coldest night of the year to raise £4m.
Members of the public can join in this year by committing to raise £100. Businesses can also sponsor the event.
