Motorists using the Kingsway are being told to plan journeys in advance as a stretch of the carriageway will be closed for the weekend.
The eastbound carriageway from the Old Glamis Road to the Forfar Road junction is closed until 6.30am on Monday.
As reported in the Tele earlier this week, the closures are to allow Dundee City Council workers to begin installing new pedestrian crossings that link the Caird Park with the residential areas south of the Kingsway.
The new crossings allow cyclists and pedestrians to cross to and from the park safely.
Kingsway will close in the other direction from next Friday until the following Monday.
