Kilmarnock fan Gordon Sawers hits out at ban after bust-up with Dundee boss Neil McCann

A Kilmarnock ‘super-fan’ has been banned from seeing his team after launching a foul-mouthed tirade at Dundee boss Neil McCann.

Gordon Sawers, whose video blogs on Killie have gone viral, will not be allowed in Rugby Park until January after confronting the Dee gaffer in last month’s 1-1 draw.

The 39-year-old has a season ticket in the front row of the Frank Beattie Stand beside the dugouts.

In a video after the game, Sawers called Neil McCann a “******* wee tadger”.

During the game on September 23, Sawers claims the Dark Blues’ gaffer tried to get a Kilmarnock player sent off which caused him to react.

In his post-match video, he branded Neil McCann a “******* wee tadger”.

Speaking to the Sun on his ban, Sawers is reported to have said: “I wasn’t ejected, I wasn’t arrested, so how can they ban me?

“At the final whistle there were verbals. If security wasn’t there, things could have got ugly.”

Sawers also claimed to have been banned from Dens Park in the upcoming clash between the two team in November.
